Production Team Lead
About The Position
LG Electronics is opening a brand-new manufacturing plant in Windsor, Virginia, and is looking for Production Team Leads who lead from the line, lift up the people around them, and want to help build something from the ground up. This role involves leading a team assembling commercial chillers, coaching and developing team members while working hands-on at any station on the line. The Production Team Lead will champion safety, take pride in quality, keep production running smoothly, and act as a liaison between the team and engineering, quality, and maintenance departments. As one of the first leaders at this new plant, the individual will help shape the culture, routines, and standards.
Requirements
- 3+ years of manufacturing or assembly experience.
- 1+ years of demonstrated experience of leading a team successfully achieving goals.
- A passion for safety, quality, and helping others grow.
- Strong communication skills.
- A team-first mindset.
- Comfort with hands-on equipment setup and troubleshooting.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with lean tools (5S, kaizen, standard work) is a plus.
