Production Team Lead
About The Position
Primarily provides general direction and technical support to shift operations and extrusion operators. Follows standard operating procedures and related processing principles to ensure order specifications are attained. Assist to resolve operator problems, provides guidance and coaching. Leads change-over activities and ensures minimum downtime/scrap is achieved. May assist operator to complete scheduled timelines. Assists shift Facilitator as requested. Helps manage the technical side of the Extrusion Operators assignment. Ensure products are within specification and proper quality is attained before initiating the production run. Confirms process controls are functioning properly. Directs and participates in the change-over process to new product. Ensures raw materials are available for continuous processing and may make basic repairs/adjustments when necessary.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent training and specialized training.
- Minimum 2+ years of related experience.
