In this Team Lead position, you will be operating machinery and performing tasks in a manufacturing setting in order to safely craft concrete products. These products serve to transform the landscape of residential and commercial properties all over the world! And you will have a hand in making that happen. The Team Lead must execute the production plan and supervise the team members through the shift, troubleshooting and correcting technical issues, ensuring tasks are completed correctly and efficiently. The work environment is fast-paced and over time a high level of expertise can be developed. Ideal candidates will have a strong sense of safety and the ability to perform all tasks in a safe, proficient manner, while understanding the importance of delivering a high quality, finished product. This shift is from 3:00PM - 11:00PM, Monday - Friday. Occasional overtime and Saturday work may be required depending on the production and overall company business needs.

Requirements

  • Requirements include being on your feet for long periods and being able to lift objects in excess of 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect for quality related issues as it relates the molds and forms.
  • Ensure products are being filled to the proper heights and cleaned thoroughly.
  • Clean all equipment and machines.
  • Perform other production related duties as needed.
  • Lead the 2nd shift precast team in meeting daily, weekly, and monthly production targets; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; resolving problems; and reporting results to management.
  • Responsible for communicating daily and weekly goals to your team members as well as overall company goals and objectives.
  • Make judgment calls when the department or production manager is unavailable regarding conflict resolution and mechanical issues.
  • Work alongside team members, ensuring proper breaks and schedules are being kept.
  • Organize tools and materials and keep work areas free of clutter.
  • Maintain tools and equipment through proper storage, training, maintenance, and usage.
  • Understand, follow, and enforce employee conduct guidelines established in the employee handbook. Answer personnel questions and/or obtain clarification of handbook content through Management or Human Resources. Maintain communication between management and team members to ensure that necessary policies are understood and followed.
  • Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of the company as needs change.
