About The Position

This position provides guidance, instruction, direction, and leadership to the Production Team. The Team Leader will communicate all necessary information to the supervisor and management. The Team Leader will supervise and lead an assigned team through the daily activities in the warehouse to ensure smooth operations and efficient completion of projects.

Responsibilities

Take and maintain daily attendance records, ensuring sheets are accessible and turned in daily.
Ensure team members wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Complete machine checklists twice hourly and the checklist on the side of each CRT machine.
Place scrap in the designated red scrap tote and transport it to the scrap trailer at the end of the shift.
Collaborate with the quality lead for accurate scrap reporting and ensure red bins are emptied for the incoming shift.
Conduct daily team meetings to discuss previous day's performance and issues.
Understand coverage paperwork, validate finished goods in appropriate staging areas, and validate schedule versus coverage report.
Maintain cleanliness of areas and machinery, ensuring no trash on the floor and aisles are clear.
Ensure areas are restocked with WIP and raw materials.
Complete On-the-Job Training (OJT) sheets for new operators and anytime an operator moves to a new machine.
Monitor employees to ensure they are working safely and efficiently while focusing on quality, and make regular rounds to notice missing employees.
Encourage and train employees, understanding that employees reflect the lead's effort.
Set a positive example by caring about people and the company.
