About The Position

Taylor Corporation is looking for a Team Lead for our Full Color department on our Flatbed side in our North Mankato-MN facility. This role is responsible for processing startups and controls, aligning crewing to volume needs, establishing run priorities based on customer requirements, managing daily WIP reports, meeting production goals, establishing team member goals, gathering metrics and barriers for Gemba, and confirming quality through routine checks of print, cutting, finishing, and packaging quality. The position is for the 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship. Requirements

Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
Frequently required to move inside the facility
Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)
Authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship

Responsibilities

Process startup and control
Align crewing to the need based on volumes in area
Establish run priority based on customer requirements for all operators, assemblers and packagers
Manage all aspects of the daily WIP reports
Meet production goals
Establish daily, monthly and annual goals for team members
Gather metrics and barriers for Gemba
Confirm quality-routine checks
Print quality, cutting quality, Finishing quality, packaging quality
