About The Position
The Team Leader’s primary focus is to lead installers, technicians and/or material handlers in exceeding customer expectations in safety, quality, and productivity. Daily assignment of work.
Requirements
- High School education or equivalent.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Candidates must successfully complete criminal and submit to a motor vehicle background check.
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to help guide a team.
- Proven ability to collaborate with others.
- Good problem-solving skills with focus on continuous improvement techniques.
- Effective organizational Skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a Group/Team lead preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead training for new hires and/or current team members.
- Responsible for the proper training for new hires and continuous training as necessary.
- Perform in-process inspections and fill out the proper forms.
- Delegate rework to responsible team members that performed the function.
- Make sure all flammables are in the fire cabinets.
- Communicate part shortages concerns to warehouse.
- Communicate quality concerns with the Quality team.
- Promote safety within the team by making sure all team members are wearing the proper PPE for the area (safety glasses, hearing protection, safety toe boots/shoes, etc.).
- Assist in delegating tasks as directed by production management.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
