About The Position

The production team lead coordinates daily production activities on the shop floor, ensuring team members meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards. This role acts as the first point of contact for production employees, providing guidance, troubleshooting support, and communication between workers and supervisors. We are hiring for both shifts: 1st Shift (7:00am-3:30pm) Pay Rate: $25.07/hr, 2nd Shift (3:00pm-11:30pm) Pay Rate: $26.37/hr.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED Required.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience Required.
• Familiarity with computers. Ability to navigate at a basic level within web-based applications.
• Ability to read and write in English to understand basic safety instructions and take direction from supervisors; communicate effectively with staff and customers; and respond to basic questions.
• Ability to comprehend and converse in English to communicate effectively with staff and customers.
• Ability to demonstrate full working knowledge of standard concepts, practices, procedures, and policies with the ability to use them in varied situations.
• Ability to work collaboratively in small teams to improve the operations of immediate work group by offering ideas, identifying issues, and respecting team members.
• Ability to demonstrate a positive attitude and respond to requests in a timely and respectful manner.

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide training, coaching and mentoring to team members.
• Act as a role model for safety, teamwork, and professionalism on the shop floor.
• Monitor machinery and processes, escalating issues to maintenance and management when needed.
• Assign and monitor daily work tasks for production team members.
• Sever as the communication link between team members and production manager.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety and company policies.
• Maintain clean work space and perform inspections of equipment.
• Operate equipment according to established procedures.
