About The Position

Crestline Coach Ltd. is seeking an energetic and professional individual to join our Production team. As a Team Lead, you will support daily manufacturing throughput and output. You will lead team members in the performance of their day-to-day activities as a working leader on the floor, actively involved in production, not just overseeing from a distance. You will build trust within your team through consistent communication, support, and presence on the floor. You will set clear expectations and hold team members accountable while providing ongoing feedback on quality, workmanship, and process adherence. You will develop a strong understanding of the paint workflow, including sequencing of work and how upstream decisions impact downstream production. You will monitor and address output & productivity issues within assigned departments, inclusive of meeting production targets, cycle time and product & process quality standards. You will make critical quality decisions, including box inspections, with a clear understanding of what “good” looks like and the downstream impact of those decisions on cost, rework, and delivery timelines. You will take responsibility for ensuring the maximum production output while maintaining the highest level of quality and employee morale. You will take ownership of all processes and products so that they meet all quality standards, and that nothing goes out to an internal customer that is deficient in quality. You will lead process improvement activities by coordinating cross functional teams comprised of production, materials, maintenance, quality and engineering. You will plan for all pre and post-Kaizen activities in your area, with help from the Lean Team, to make every Kaizen event in the area successful. You will work with the Safety & Quality Manager to ensure the safety of employees and the maintenance of equipment. You will comply with all federal and provincial safety standards, guidelines and policies by driving workforce initiatives such as our health and safety system towards a Mission zero incident safety culture. You will support team members by proactively addressing issues that are affecting quality, delivery and productivity in the area through the daily morning meetings, and also through proactive and personal interactions with other departments and superiors to ensure that all barriers are removed.
