About The Position

The Production Team Lead – Night Shift is a dual‑function role that rotates between Machine Operator duties (on egg‑grading shifts) and Shrink Wrap Lead duties (on non‑grading shifts). The successful candidate must be able to perform all responsibilities in both areas while supporting overall production efficiency and team performance. Requirements

Grade 12 education and strong English (written and verbal) and mathematical skills
Strong understanding of production line flow and basic equipment troubleshooting.
Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and support team members.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Comfortable operating power equipment (e.g., pallet movers, walkies).
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make sound decisions.
Basic computer skills for entering production data and completing documentation.
Reliable attendance and commitment to food safety, GMPs, and Health & Safety procedures.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a food industry an asset.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate machine packers; maintain smooth production flow.
Enter producer/lot information and update date codes.
Lead and support shrink‑wrap staff; assist with wrapping/packing as needed.
Operate power equipment to move skids; troubleshoot minor machine issues.
Communicate with Supervisor, Team Leads, and production staff throughout the shift.
Address and document employee concerns; support training and evaluations.
Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all company policies, GMPs, and Health & Safety rules.
Report any equipment or food safety concerns immediately.
Perform all other duties as assigned by Plant Manager.
