About The Position

Taylor Corporation is hiring Temporary Production Support Workers for the holiday season. These are full-time positions, and training is provided. Workers assist equipment operators and perform hands-on production tasks, including applying labels, cutting and wrapping products, packing and inspecting items, and stacking and transporting printed materials. They follow job instructions and safety procedures to ensure orders meet specifications. Shift hours are flexible across first and second shifts based on availability. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Requirements

Be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
Perform basic mathematical functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Read, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

Assist equipment operators in a variety of areas.
Perform hand operations such as applying labels, cutting and wrapping products, using tape dispensers, and operating foot controls.
Pack products in boxes and tape boxes shut appropriately for shipping while inspecting products for quality defects.
Stack, pack, and transport printed materials at various stages of completion on pallets as they accumulate on equipment delivery tables.
Read and follow specific job instructions to produce orders according to specification.
Follow safety rules, procedures, and standards.
Handle other tasks as assigned.
