About The Position

As the Senior Lead Manager for Record Remediation and PrivateLink Update initiatives, you will lead a cross-functional team responsible for the maintenance, integration, and implementation of OpenText software applications and associated technology solutions. Reporting to senior leadership, you will drive project delivery, ensure operational stability, and manage incident, problem, and change activities for these critical technology projects. You will partner with business, technology, risk, compliance, and vendor teams to achieve strategic outcomes aligned with organizational goals. CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 2-3 days per week on-site, while other days may be remote. This role also requires occasional travel.

Requirements

  • 8-12 years of recent experience in Production Support Engineering.
  • Experience leading technology teams.
  • Experience managing production incidents and ensuring prompt restoration of service.
  • Experience overseeing the execution of Record Remediation and PrivateLink Update technology initiatives.
  • Experience with implementation of OpenText software.
  • Experience developing strategic roadmaps.
  • Experience driving timely, transparent project delivery.
  • Well-versed in monitoring, alerting, logging, and support tools.
  • Approach aligns technology initiatives with broader business objectives.
  • Extensive knowledge of banking products, services, and industry regulations.
  • Substantial experience in IT service management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of incident, problem, change, and major incident processes.
  • A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a related field or relevant certifications is required.
  • Skilled in communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Verbal and written communication skills enable you to provide clear updates on service health, risks, and improvement activities.
  • Must be legally eligible to work at the specified location(s) and, where applicable, must have a valid work or study permit.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of Record Remediation and PrivateLink Update technology initiatives, developing strategic roadmaps and ensuring timely, transparent project delivery.
  • Oversee solution requirements, design reviews, technology test planning, and coordinate software application testing, change management, configuration, installation, and ongoing support.
  • Manage incident, problem, and change activities, including major incident response and root-cause resolution to maintain operational stability and performance.
  • Partner with business, technology, risk, compliance, and vendor teams to drive strategic outcomes and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
