About The Position

Indotronix is seeking a Production Support Electrical Engineer – P2 - 2nd shift for a Job Opportunity in Tucson AZ. This role involves resolving production and supplier issues, maintaining technical documentation, diagnosing hardware failures, evaluating defect data for process improvements, and collaborating with suppliers. The engineer will be responsible for making quick assessments of problems, identifying necessary information and resources, prioritizing issues, creating troubleshooting and correction plans, communicating these plans to cross-functional teams, and providing status updates.

Requirements

  • Experience with digital, analog, RF and/or mixed signal testing and/or debugging complex circuit card assemblies and/or electro-mechanical systems
  • Experience with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, function generators, power supplies, etc.
  • Ability to interpret schematics, PCB layouts, and BoMs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • 3 to 5 years of experience
  • BSEE or equivalent education

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting production engineering activities involving electrical or mechanical hardware
  • Background in designing electronic or electro optical subsystems, including circuit design, assembly processes, and fabrication practices
  • Familiarity with engineering and analysis tools across electrical design, simulation, and measurement domains
  • Experience with subsystem integration, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Ability to work independently or within small teams while providing technical guidance, coordination, and project oversight

Responsibilities

  • Resolve production and supplier issues, including troubleshooting and coordinating corrective actions
  • Maintain and update technical drawings and documentation, including preparing change packages for review boards
  • Diagnose hardware failures using a range of electronic test equipment and analysis tools
  • Evaluate defect and yield data to drive process improvements and reduce recurring failures
  • Collaborate with suppliers, create Statements of Work, and support general electrical engineering activities in production environments
