About The Position

Indotronix is seeking a Production Support Electrical Engineer – P2 - 3rd shift for a Job Opportunity in Tucson AZ. This is a 12-month contract position with a pay rate of $83.64/hr on W2. The shift is the 3rd shift, from 11:00 pm to 8:00 am.

Requirements

  • Experience with digital, analog, RF and/or mixed signal testing and/or debugging complex circuit card assemblies and/or electro-mechanical systems.
  • Experience with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, function generators, power supplies, etc.
  • Ability to interpret schematics, PCB layouts, and BoMs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting production engineering activities involving electrical or mechanical hardware.
  • Background in designing electronic or electro optical subsystems, including circuit design, assembly processes, and fabrication practices.
  • Familiarity with engineering and analysis tools across electrical design, simulation, and measurement domains.
  • Experience with subsystem integration, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently or within small teams while providing technical guidance, coordination, and project oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Make a quick assessment of a problem, identify additional information required, understand the resources available, compare the urgency of the issue to other failures/issues, and to take the understanding of these parts and create a path for troubleshoot and/or correction and final resolution.
  • Communicate the troubleshooting and/or correction plan to a cross-functional team with diverse backgrounds.
  • Drive updates and status of the plan along the way.
  • Resolve production and supplier issues, including troubleshooting and coordinating corrective actions.
  • Maintain and update technical drawings and documentation, including preparing change packages for review boards.
  • Diagnose hardware failures using a range of electronic test equipment and analysis tools.
  • Evaluate defect and yield data to drive process improvements and reduce recurring failures.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, create Statements of Work, and support general electrical engineering activities in production environments.
