Requirements

  • Must be safety conscious.
  • Must be comfortable with operating tools and/or equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team is preferred.
  • No experience necessary, however familiarity with production support or material handling is beneficial.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Feed lumber into designated machinery and workstations for repair and assembly.
  • Move materials to and from the production floor as requested.
  • Treat lumber and other material to ensure asset longevity.
  • Assist in maintaining an organized and efficient production area.
  • May backfill the production lines during breaks or as needs arise.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when handling and transporting lumber.
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Report any safety hazards or concerns to supervisors immediately.
  • Provides floor support for pallet repair and assembly line operators.
  • Responsible for loading, stacking, prepping, or treating lumber to flow through the production line for repair and/or assembly.
  • Ensure the efficient flow of materials, contribute to the production process, and maintain a high level of accuracy.
