About The Position

The Production Support Associate is a member of Perry’s production team and is responsible for adding ingredients to ice cream, packaging product, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. The role also supports production and sanitation teams and helps floor and sanitation technicians when needed, particularly during changeovers. Perry’s provides feedback, education, and ongoing professional development to support employees in their work.

This is a second-shift position, scheduled Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Additional days or overtime may be required to meet daily production demands. The work environment is fast-paced and safety- and value-oriented. The role requires standing for the full shift, frequent lifting and pouring of ingredient containers, and occasional entry into an environment at -20 degrees.

Requirements

• High school diploma, HSE, or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Willingness to be payrolled through a temporary staffing service.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and maintain footing on wet or icy floors.
• Ability to push, pull, and continuously lift up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written directions.
• Reliability, dependability, and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to briefly enter an extreme environment of -20 degrees.
• Ability to use proper lifting and bending techniques.
• Good basic math skills.
• Ability to support the production of safe, high-quality products and team-member safety.
• Safety-toed boots or shoes are required.

Responsibilities

• Add ingredients to ice cream.
• Lift and pour 50–60 lb pails of sauces and 20–30 lb boxes of other ingredients every 3–5 minutes.
• Package product.
• Keep the work area clean and safe while performing other duties.
• Assist production and sanitation teams in other areas.
• Help floor technicians and sanitation technicians when needed, especially during changeovers.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMPs).
