About The Position

A production supervisor is responsible for developing quality manufacturing associates (qmas) and directing their job assignments. A production supervisor will also provide technical hands on leadership to the production staff. Must also convey a professional attitude towards all employees while recognizing the responsibility to meet production schedules.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in direct supervisor.
• Must have hands-on leadership ability.
• Possess excellent communication skills
• Ability to work and lead in a team environment and maintain and encourage positive attitudes
• Ability to work in a safe manner and follow safety policies and procedures
• Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools

Responsibilities

• Safely perform assigned tasks completely and efficiently.
• Comply with department policies, procedures and work instructions including the TASUS Quality Management System
• Understand and ensure team is following the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Handle performance, disciplinary and attendance issues.
• Review employee performance as outlined in handbook
• Complete shift documents and reports
• Effectively communicate with other departments and escalate appropriate issues within their department
• Assist production staff with TPS meetings and projects.
