About The Position

The Production Supervisor is responsible for providing guidance and leadership to all department personnel on their assigned shift. This role involves managing line efficiencies, key performance indicators, and downtime, while monitoring the production process and making necessary adjustments. The supervisor ensures equipment is in working order and maintains a safe working environment. Key duties include verifying production line readiness, managing overall product quality, assisting employees with troubleshooting, and developing team members. The role also champions company-wide safety programs and initiatives, providing coaching, problem-solving, and team building.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
2+ years supervising production staff.
Basic computer and database application skills.
Familiarity with manufacturing systems.
Demonstrated leadership ability and strong communication skills.
Ability to work within timelines and in pressure situations.
Ability to handle multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree.
Food Manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

Staff, train, evaluate, and develop team members.
Champion for company -wide safety programs and initiatives
