Learn more at www.hbfuller.com. The Production Supervisor leads daily manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals. This role supervises production employees, coordinates schedules, and drives continuous improvement initiatives. The supervisor partners with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient plant operations and a positive, inclusive workplace.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-3 years of manufacturing, production, or operations supervisory experience.
  • Experience leading, training, or directing production employees.
  • Ability to interpret work instructions, safety procedures, and production documentation; proficiency with basic computer applications.
  • Authorization to work in the country of employment without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or higher in a technical, manufacturing, or business-related field.
  • Experience with electromechanical equipment, machine setup, troubleshooting, and blueprint reading.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, inventory control, and quality inspection tools.

Responsibilities

  • Update and execute daily production schedules.
  • Oversee plant startup, shutdown, and daily operations.
  • Enforce safety, quality, 5S, and operational procedures.
  • Lead, train, coach, and evaluate production employees.
  • Monitor equipment performance and production efficiency.
  • Support machine setup, inspections, troubleshooting, and changeovers.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and FIFO material practices.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, shipping, receiving, and management teams to resolve issues and implement continuous improvements.
