About The Position

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the Manufacturing/and Warehouse Operations and must adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and efficiency of the operation. This role requires hands-on leadership to ensure productivity targets are met based on company goals, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to lead employees by being available, providing regular performance feedback, and developing subordinates' skills and encouraging growth. The supervisor will generate and follow Key Performance Indicators across different departments, perform data analysis for continuous improvement, and ensure federal regulations including safety protocols, environmental requirements, and cGMP guidelines are met. Training associates on SOPs, OPLs, policies, and other required procedures is crucial, as is reviewing production planning/scheduling to implement appropriate tasks. The role also involves performing root cause analysis, including investigations and taking appropriate preventative actions, and developing associates to build a strong team. Compliance with company policies and procedures, and regular work attendance are expected, along with effective communication with the entire team across the operation. Additional duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Must comply with cGMP requirements; specific functions and documents will be discussed in GMP and on the job training.
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience in Manufacturing/Warehouse Operations.
  • Must be able to read/write English.
  • Must be able to support the operation on any shift as needed up to including Saturday.
  • Ability to stand/walk for entire shift and lift to 50lbs.
  • Ability to work autonomously and make independent decisions.
  • Must be able to prioritize tasks and multi-task.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, warehouse management systems.
  • Must be able to successfully clear drug screening processes, which include testing for all illegal substances per Federal Guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Motivate all associates and create a warm and welcoming environment.
  • Responsible for all the different tasks associated with the manufacturing areas related to pharmacy, blending, encapsulation, and compression.
  • Responsible for the warehouse operations.
  • Identify any potential safety hazards and address them immediately.
  • Coordinate the shift to ensure all quality requirements are met in each manufacturing processes.
  • Hands-on leadership to ensure productivity targets are met based on the company goals.
  • Lead employees by making self-available to staff, provide regular performance feedback, and develop subordinates' skills and encourage growth.
  • Generate and follow Key Performance Indicators across the different departments.
  • Perform data analysis to implement continuous improvement throughout the plant operations.
  • Ensure federal regulations including safety protocols, environmental requirements, and cGMP guidelines are met.
