In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team within a Production unit or line to execute production processes, transforming parts and raw materials into ABB products in a timely and cost-effective manner. Each day, you will ensure continuous and efficient operation in accordance with volumes, schedules, procedures, drawings, and quality and safety standards and policies. You will also showcase your expertise by organizing and allocating resources to meet line production targets effectively and efficiently. This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions in Pinetops, NC. You will be mainly accountable for: Ensure production schedules meet volume requirements and inventory service levels from the demand plan. Identify production deficiencies, recommend equipment/facility improvements, and oversee implementation to enhance performance. Maintain knowledge of all safety and environmental regulations affecting the work area. Lead effective shift meetings and manage resolution of critical production or equipment issues with relevant teams. Monitor process/equipment health and use appropriate tools (WIs, SOPs, JSTs) to maintain high operational and reliability standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in leading in a manufacturing or product development environment or equivalent leadership experience.
• Excellent supervisory and leadership skills.
• Some project management skills to lead small Kaizen projects.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or a proven track record in leading continuous improvements projects.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports and logs.
• Ability and willingness to travel as required.
• Candidates must already have authorization to work in the US.
