About The Position

Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove, a leading manufacturer of luxury kitchen appliances, is a longstanding, family-owned company in the Madison area. This position will supervise 20 – 25 assembly staff at a given time and work collaboratively with other supervisors during a shift. Growth and development are important aspects of this position, setting individuals up for success whether they aspire to be a leader or a technical expert. Core hours for 2nd shift are M-F, 1:30pm - 9:30pm.

Requirements

  • Supervise 20 – 25 assembly staff at a given time.
  • Work collaboratively with other supervisors during a shift.
  • Pre-employment drug/alcohol test and background check required after conditional job offer.
  • Negative drug/alcohol test result required for employment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise people and assembly activities to achieve established production goals consistent with standards of quality, safety, cost and housekeeping.
  • Plan operations, utilization of skills and man-hours, material and work flow to assure timely production and quality standards of assigned products.
  • Organize and assign work and instruct, cross-train, and otherwise assist employees in the performance of their work.
  • Ensure the consistent use of safety devices and personal protective equipment (PPE), supervise departmental housekeeping and maintain constant alert for hazardous conditions and practices. Drive safety ideas and improvements.
  • Monitor and drive quality measures and implement continuous improvement efforts.
  • Provide information and collaborate with other internal groups to effect cost reduction, work simplification, production scheduling and manpower planning.
  • Participate in and coordinate programs related to employee communications, placement, training and development, orientation, quality, etc.
  • Promote positive employee relations through daily, open and direct communications.
  • Ensure conformance with Company policies, practices and work rules related to attendance, performance, etc.
