About The Position

Alleguard is a leader in the Protective Packaging Industry, dedicated to expanding and shaping customer businesses across various sectors. The 1st Shift Production Supervisor reports to the Production Manager and is responsible for materials and production management functions, including planning, procurement, storage, control, and distribution of materials and products to meet shift objectives. This role provides direct supervision over an assigned shift.

Requirements

Comprehensive knowledge of product production
Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred
Strong leadership skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work with minimum supervision - self starter
Strong interpersonal skills
Graduation from High School; including or supplemented by vocational training.
Minimum three (3) years employment in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Oversees and ensures proper production planning and scheduling are carried out during the assigned shift.
Monitors and addresses activities to prevent deviations from production schedules.
Balances the level of labor cost and machine requirements during the assigned shift.
Responsible for the motivation and development of subordinates to optimize their performance and personal growth.
Oversees routine housekeeping as required.
Performs any other tasks as may be assigned by the Plant Manager.
Assists in related department activities and performs related duties, as required.
