About The Position

Supervises production shifts, monitoring attendance, performance evaluation of operators, packers, and line coordinators. Ability to evaluate and implement production schedules. Supervises a team of Operators, Packers, Line Coordinators, Production Clerks and Janitors. Works closely with other departments regarding production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolves problems. Meets production financial standards by providing annual budget information; monitoring expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions. Evaluates functionality and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment and employees. Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal (OSHA) codes and regulations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years relevant production experience in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, especially those governing the food/dairy industry.
  • Thorough understanding of attendance and disciplinary systems in place.
  • Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety Practices
  • High level of interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft applications).
  • Work with all departments.
  • Maintain a Safe/Healthy working environment for all employees.
