About The Position

48forty Solutions is hiring a Production Supervisor for its pallet manufacturing operations. The supervisor works closely with plant management to develop plant personnel and keep operations running smoothly and efficiently. The role leads production, supports customers when necessary, and performs pallet sorting, light pallet repair, forklift operation, and customer service duties. The position is based at 11144 West Silver Spring Drive, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and pays $22.00 per hour. The regular shift is Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, with overtime or swing shifts as needed. 48forty Solutions describes itself as North America’s largest pallet management services company, providing pallet supply and retrieval, on-site services, reverse logistics, and packaging materials. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
2–3 years of experience in a warehouse or similar facility.
Demonstrated experience leading a team.
Ability to communicate effectively with the plant management team on a regular basis.
Ability to work in extreme conditions, including heat, cold, elements, and airborne particulates.
Ability to repetitively lift up to 50–75 pounds and bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for entire shifts of varying lengths.
Ability to use required personal protective equipment, including eye protection and safety shoes; ear protection is mandatory at several locations.
Close, distance, and color vision.
Good balance and eye-hand-foot coordination.

Responsibilities

Enforce safety standards, achieve production goals, and maintain quality standards.
Provide leadership and mentorship to the site’s production function.
Perform pallet sorting, light pallet repair, forklift operation, and customer service duties.
Lead production and provide customer support when necessary.
Communicate regularly and effectively with the plant management team.
Work overtime as needed or cover swing shifts at times.
