About The Position

This position is responsible for assisting the day to day activities of plant operations following production schedule, raw material flow through processing and plant operations. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for managing the range within cost goals and produce adequate quantities to fulfill our customer’s demands with a motivated and engaged team. This position is also responsible for making sure standard yields and standard lbs. per hour are met on a daily basis. The Production Supervisor will be required to make sure that the workforce is trained properly and is trained to work safely.

Requirements

Must be able to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs

Nice To Haves

Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in technical, engineering, or relevant field will be an advantage.
3+ years’ experience in manufacturing leadership
Prior experience in Food Safety and Quality or Employee Safety
Mechanical aptitude

Responsibilities

Daily management of GMB building 1, freezer and dry storage, HPP/SIS and brine tunnel operations.
Consistently manage daily production operations to ensure manufacturing protocols, product specifications, quality guidelines, and safety standards are maintained
Maintain excellent communication with other supervisors as well as the Operations Manager to ensure ongoing changes and problems are addressed and resolved
Responsible for assisting the Operations Manager in maintaining proper staffing to support current and future production demands
Key resource for making sure all daily paperwork is completed without error and submitted to the appropriate person or department in a timely manner
Responsible for monitoring and reporting on variances regarding production operations
Responsible for maintaining and developing talent
