About The Position

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team within a Production unit or line to execute production processes, transforming parts and raw materials into ABB products in a timely and cost-effective manner. Each day, you will ensure continuous and efficient operation in accordance with volumes, schedules, procedures, drawings, and quality and safety standards and policies. You will also showcase your expertise by organizing and allocating resources to meet line production targets effectively and efficiently. This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions in Selmer, TN.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in business or related field preferred.
  • 5 plus years of supervisory experience.
  • Candidates must have work authorization to work in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares annual production budget, oversees progress, and determines actions to cost issues as necessary in order to manage operations within the budget and resources.
  • Develops programs, projects, goals, and metrics to lead the organization to the highest level of operational performance while optimizing working capital throughout Operations.
  • Develops and executes plans to reduce non-value-added costs, increase revenues, and delight customers by delivering products on time with high factory and supplier yields and decreasing product field failure rates.
  • Accountable for the health and safety of all employees and contractors for the teams in scope, and continuous improvement in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) processes and integrity performance.
  • Assesses risks and safety hazards and implements plans to ensure people and equipment safety.
  • Promotes and enables collaboration in the division, across divisions, business areas, and teams to maximize results for ABB.
  • Provides guidance to the teams and seeks knowledge for their own development and coaching/mentoring of the teams.
