About The Position
Ace Precision is an internationally recognized supplier to the Aerospace, Power Generation, Defense and Space industries. We are looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor to motivate and guide our production team, ensuring top-quality products are delivered. This role is crucial for coaching employees, optimizing processes, and maintaining safe and smooth operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Requirements
- Associate degree in Manufacturing, Business, or related field, with minimum three years of supervisory or lead experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, is essential
Responsibilities
- Motivate, develop, and direct an engaged team of production employees
- Identify developmental needs and help employees grow their skills, knowledge, and confidence
- Monitor production activities to ensure compliance with quality, housekeeping, and safety standards
- Verify finished products using inspection tools including bore gages, rail gages, and micrometers
- Interpret complex drawings, routings, and specifications
- Analyze work orders and production schedules to plan for efficiency and achieve daily goals
- Work closely with other supervisors and management to streamline processes and boost overall productivity
- Partner with Production Control to schedule work, manage assignments, and maintain workflow between shifts
- Bring knowledge of raw materials and manufacturing processes to drive continuous improvement
