About The Position

Adler Pelzer Group is seeking a motivated and committed Production Supervisor for the manufacturing operations in Thomson, Georgia. The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading, managing and maintaining assigned section of the Production Floor as it relates to customer product line and internal manufacturing processes. This includes organizing work assignments, checking procedures and equipment to ensure conformance to standardized work, engineering instructions, and compliance with established maintenance, IATF16949 and APPS standards. The role also involves meeting production schedules and optimizing plant resources.

Requirements

• Equivalent experience to education substitution.
• Experience in automotive industry preferred.
• Experience with IATF16949 and APPS standards.
• Experience with manufacturing processes from raw materials to finished goods.
• Experience troubleshooting production and maintenance issues.

Nice To Haves

• Licenses & Certifications are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage personnel and projects within his/her department.
• Possess knowledge of all functions from raw materials to finished goods, including equipment and machinery.
• Ensure proper use and care of equipment, requesting repair or replacement when necessary.
• Ensure employees are properly trained for their work assignments and assist them in solving unusual problems encountered in their work.
• Troubleshoot production and maintenance issues immediately and effectively.
• Maintain keen attention to detail.
• Other duties as assigned to support team goals.
