About The Position

The Production Supervisor leads daily production operations at Plant 2, coordinating people, schedules, and workflow to meet safety, quality, and delivery targets. The role supports efficient manufacturing, employee development, product launches, and continuous improvement while ensuring customer quality requirements and company operating systems are followed.

The ideal candidate is a motivated, results-driven leader who can manage teams, improve performance, and maintain a safe, productive manufacturing environment. This position is based in Livingston, Tennessee, within Operations, and reports to the Production Superintendent. The position is exempt.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent technical training preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience in a fabricated metals environment preferred.
• At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of blueprint reading, SPC, lean manufacturing principles, and employee relations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily production operations to meet safety, quality, and delivery targets.
• Coordinate staffing, production schedules, and workflow to maximize efficiency.
• Train, coach, and develop production employees.
• Partner with Engineering to support new product launches and process improvements.
• Monitor productivity, scrap, rework, and safety performance, and implement improvement plans.
• Assign work orders and ensure proper staffing and equipment utilization.
• Ensure compliance with customer quality requirements and company operating systems.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
