About The Position

The Production Supervisor, under the direction of the Plant Manager, will assist with plant operations for production and manufacturing, overseeing production teams and resources to meet scheduling goals while driving improvements in safety, quality, and efficiency. This role is responsible for supervising and motivating a manufacturing team to create a culture of personal responsibility, accountability, and continuous improvement. The supervisor will plan, schedule, coordinate, and monitor the flow of products through the complete production cycle, execute production schedules in coordination with the Production Planning Manager, and review upcoming materials requirements to ensure no interruption in the schedule. They will provide direction, leadership, and training to accomplish company goals, stay up-to-date with the latest production management best practices, and initiate and facilitate problem-solving groups. The role also involves achieving quality and productivity metrics, preparing and maintaining production reports, meeting monthly revenue targets, and working cross-functionally with department leaders to align processes, improve workflows, and drive operational excellence. Support for Lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement efforts is also expected.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success as a Production Supervisor in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment, setting production priorities on a daily basis
  • Experience working with other operations teams to achieve build targets
  • Knowledge of inventory management and production scheduling principles
  • Tenacious and detail-oriented focus on executing according to plan
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, like NetSuite
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Enjoy being part of a team, but also feel comfortable working on your own and taking initiative

Responsibilities
