The Supply Chain function is essential to Tropicana Brand Group’s success by enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products. By improving warehouse operations, optimizing transportation routes, and refining inventory management practices, the team plays a critical role in streamlining processes. Collaborating with other departments to align strategies, the Supply Chain team ensures that Tropicana meets customer demands while maintaining a high standard of performance and cost-effectiveness. Through their efforts, they contribute to both short-term achievements and long-term growth. Tropicana Brands Group is looking for a highly qualified Manufacturing Supervisor to support the Packaging Department to ensure the company’s goals and initiatives are met. We are looking for a critical thinker with exceptional communication, influencing and relationship management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years supervising in food and beverage manufacturing
  • This role requires off-shift and/or weekend work
  • This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Preferably in engineering, business, operations management, supply chain, or similar field

  • Tackle ambiguous problems to determine and prioritize business strategies
  • Ability to structure and prioritize tasks, and focus efforts in an ambiguous work environment
  • Demonstrated ability to implement short and long term strategies to support organizational operation and transformation
  • Experience developing/coaching hourly staff preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring team compliance with all safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain product quality and sanitation standards
  • Optimize operational efficiencies to support the blending and production
  • Track operational output measures (i.e. efficiency, yield loss, product quality, inventory accuracy, transactional accuracy), anticipating and correcting trends which would compromise achievement of financial targets
  • Develop team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals
