About The Position

We are seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily production activities, ensuring maximum efficiency and adherence to quality, safety, and KPI standards. This role involves supervising schedules, priorities, productivity, and ensuring timely and accurate food production, including setup, staging, changeovers, allergen controls, and sanitation. The supervisor will monitor KPIs, identify root causes for deviations, and implement corrective actions. A key aspect of this role is coaching, training, and developing team members, removing operational barriers, and managing staffing activities such as hiring support, scheduling, assignments, performance reviews, and time approvals. The position also requires coordinating with other departments, managing team communication, coaching and disciplining employees as needed, providing supervision, guidance, and development, and fostering accountability, trust, and respect across teams. Reinforcing processes, systems, and standards, managing conflict, delegating work to team leads, responding to unplanned downtime, restoring safe operations, ensuring proper equipment handling and maintenance, and confirming material and equipment availability for production schedules are also critical. Additionally, the role involves supporting and executing operational improvement projects.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of supervisory experience in fast-paced manufacturing or food production (chilled food preferred)
  • Bilingual English and Spanish required
  • Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
  • Ability to lead under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and develop teams
  • Flexible schedule availability, including weekends
  • Intermediate computer skills (Email, Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work in cold, damp environments and remain physically active throughout shifts

Nice To Haves

  • Education in culinary arts, food safety, or management preferred
  • HACCP, ServSafe, or CCP certification a plus
