About The Position

If you are a Production Supervisor Professional looking for an opportunity to
grow, Emerson has an exciting role for you! There are 2nd Shift positions (M-TH
3:00pm - 1:30am) based in our Eden Prairie and Chanhassen, MN locations. You
will gain skill in the supervision of assigned manufacturing work areas in a
manner that will achieve group objectives with regard to safety, quality,
continuous improvement, schedule, cost, training, and a positive working
environment.

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $70,000-$85,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to work 2nd shift hours (M-TH 3:00pm - 1:30am)
• Legal authorization to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles

Responsibilities

• Ensuring a safe and compliant workplace by maintaining standards and consistently enforcing company policies.
• Planning and overseeing daily operations, assigning work, rotating tasks, and monitoring progress to meet production goals.
• Driving accountability by setting clear expectations for schedule, quality, and safety, and tracking results.
• Supporting staffing needs by participating in interviews and recommending candidates for open positions.
• Communicating regularly with your team about business goals, performance, and company updates, while fostering open dialogue.
• Coaching and mentoring employees, providing challenging assignments and regular development discussions to encourage career growth.
• Managing employee relations by addressing concerns promptly, supporting conflict resolution, and promoting a positive, respectful workplace culture.
