About The Position

Unitex is experiencing unprecedented growth and is seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor for its facility in New Brunswick, NJ. This role is responsible for overseeing daily production requirements in a fast-paced environment, managing, training, coaching, and disciplining a team of up to 25 people. The supervisor will also be responsible for updating reports based on daily productivity, training new employees on plant equipment and safety policies, and approving weekly department payroll. Unitex is a family-run business with over 100 years of experience in the medical uniform and linen rental industry, and is currently the largest family-owned healthcare service provider in the country with 1900 employees. They provide essential services to the healthcare industry, ensuring a safe and stable workplace with diverse growth opportunities.

Requirements

• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
• 2+ years of supervisory experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for managing people
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Solid work ethic, motivated, flexible, and a good problem solver
