This is a salary position offering a 4-day workweek, with a year-end bonus in addition to the listed salary.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Effective communication, organizational, leadership, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Must be proficient with computers.
  • Strong math skills.
  • Must be able to multi-task.
  • This position is deemed a safety sensitive position always requiring alertness.
  • Able to read, write and fluently communicate in English.
  • Successful results of completed Post Offer Assessment Test and Post Offer Drug Test required.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates preferred.
  • 5 years’ proven supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor Team Member’s safety, quality, and productivity performance and attendance.
  • Schedules production for Team Member’s to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Works with Sales, Purchasing, and General Manager to acknowledge orders in a timely, accurate manner.
  • Ensure that all Finishing Department Team Members perform their duties in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Controls master samples and controlled documents for department’s manufacturing processes.
  • Hire new Team Members when required and ensure that all training is being performed.
  • Handles departmental personnel issues.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for continuous improvement efforts.
  • Promote team efforts in developing and implementing effective solutions.
  • Perform leadership functions in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Values Statement to create a culture that supports the long-term sustainability of the Company.
  • Interviewing, hiring, and training Team Members.
  • Planning, assigning, and directing work.
  • Appraising performance.
  • Rewarding and disciplining direct reports.
  • Addressing complaints and resolving problems.
