About The Position

Glendale Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram is seeking a motivated entry-level Automotive Technician to join their Express Lube Team. This is a full-time union position with a 4-day workweek, offering a rotating schedule of 4-10 hour shifts and 5 consecutive days off every three weeks. The role focuses on basic maintenance, minor repairs, vehicle inspections, and documenting repairs, with a goal of completing oil changes in 30 minutes or less. Requirements

Technical automotive training or equivalent work experience
Positive work attitude
Basic computer skills
Valid driver's license
Ability to pass a background check
Ability to pass a drug test

Responsibilities

Perform basic maintenance, minor repairs, vehicle inspections, and documenting repairs.
Perform oil changes and lubrication work.
Communicate with the Express Lane Service Advisor when additional repairs are needed or when repairs cannot be completed in the scheduled time period.
Inspect and test-drive new vehicles to ensure that all features function properly.
Install accessories on new vehicles as specified by the dealer.
Work alongside skilled technicians to learn how to perform quality vehicle service maintenance and repairs.
