About The Position

This position involves supervising Production activities to ensure goals are met, occasionally serving as the “Supervisor in Charge” for the entire facility. A key aspect is ensuring a high level of guest and donor service and consistent enforcement of Easterseals-Goodwill policies and procedures. Cross-training in all aspects of Goodwill operations is required, with duties performed according to ESGW's established Best Practices. The role demands responsiveness to the dynamic nature of Goodwill sites, particularly regarding donation flow and efficient movement of goods through processing and retail. The supervisor must show initiative, adapt to changing priorities, and be prepared to assist in all retail and/or production operations, including working flexible hours, evenings, and weekends.

Requirements

  • Sensitive to guest needs and wishes
  • Must have computer experience and be competent in internet use and a variety of computer software applications
  • Must have strong interpersonal, communication, monetary, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Must be able to read, write and speak the English language in order to communicate with staff and guests
  • Completion of a background check
  • High School/Equivalent
  • 0-2 years previous experience

Responsibilities

  • Supervise Production activities to ensure goals are met

  • Participate in cross-training in all aspects of Goodwill
  • Perform duties according to the established Best Practices of ESGW
  • Be responsive to changing and unpredictable circumstances, showing initiative to accomplish tasks at hand
  • Be prepared to move between assignments as priorities change
  • Assist in all aspects of retail and/or production operations
