Requirements

  • Minimum education and experience requirements: High school degree with 8+ years’ experience OR Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience OR Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience.
  • Work well in fast-paced environments and have a strong sense of urgency while adapting to changes in responsibilities based on business needs.
  • Open to working any assigned shift.
  • Self-motivated and can inspire others with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to set performance expectations and address sensitive issues.
  • Problem-solving skills to improve organizational performance and proficient computer skills in Microsoft programs like Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading continuous improvement, Six Sigma efforts, and Kaizen project teams.
  • Demonstrated planning and organizational agility.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and building a strong team, including decisions on hiring and firing.
  • Train associates on standard manufacturing processes and ensure goals are met for Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC), while promoting continuous improvement.
  • Prioritize production schedules based on customer needs, equipment performance, staff efficiency, material availability, and business goals.
  • Coordinating with different teams is essential to ensure on-time product delivery.
  • Identify areas that need improvement to make systems work effectively.
  • Regularly assess associate performance, provide feedback, and complete annual performance reviews and the compensation process while following company policies and ensuring they are implemented across the team.
  • Manage your area's budget, including labor, production, maintenance, supplies, tooling, and fixtures.
  • Suggesting budget changes for capital expenses and labor costs, developing work schedules, and supervising skilled and semi-skilled staff
