About The Position

The Night Shift Supervisor oversees the workflow in their department. They are responsible for coaching, resolving issues, and serving as a link between subordinates and upper management. This role requires bi-lingual Spanish/English proficiency.

Requirements

Three or more years of supervision or leadership experience
Bi-Lingual (Spanish/English) Required
Must be able to work night shift
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills
Solid understanding of OEE fundamentals
Strong ability to handle employee safety and safety concerns
Strong forward-thinking abilities
Ability to adapt to constant changing situations
Thorough and accurate reporting mindset
Strong communication skills
Strong organizational and follow-up skills

Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in business administration, management or related fields, preferred

Responsibilities

Communicate vital information in front of large groups
Pass on information from upper management to employees and vice versa
Set goals for performance and deadlines in a way that complies with company’s plans and vision and communicate them to subordinates
Ensure 5S standards are established and being followed
Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks
Keep all employees safe and trained to be compliant with safety procedures
Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching
Receive complaints and resolve problems
Prepare and submit performance reports
Give input on rewards and promotions based on performance
Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if the need arises
Work towards continuous improvement through lean practices
Hire and train new employees
Maintain timekeeping and personnel records
Other duties as assigned
