About The Position

Tri-Arc Manufacturing is hiring a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead the shop-floor team of Welders, Fabricators, and Machine Operators at its Blawnox, Pennsylvania plant. The supervisor will oversee production flow, help meet daily goals, ensure orders ship on time, develop employees, and maintain safety and quality. The role involves spending time on the production floor each shift to solve problems and remove roadblocks, with varied day-to-day work.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Hours may vary with production needs and may include occasional 5:00 a.m. starts and Saturdays. Extended hours or weekends may be required when business needs dictate.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Comfort with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends when business requires.

Nice To Haves

• Welding background, especially MIG welding.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production-floor workflow to meet daily goals and ship orders on time.
• Lead, train, and develop team members, including providing regular performance feedback.
• Adjust staffing to meet production needs while maintaining safety and quality.
• Work on the floor each shift to solve problems and remove roadblocks.
• Track on-time delivery, productivity, scrap, and other key metrics.
• Manage team scheduling, attendance, and timekeeping.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, and Shipping to keep orders moving.
• Promote a strong safety culture and lead continuous improvement efforts, including 5S and lean.
