About The Position

The Production Supervisor is responsible for setting daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicating them to employees, organizing workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules and overseeing and coaching employees. Under the general supervision of the Director of Operations for the plant, the Production Supervisor will supervise assigned production floor lines/cells and drive the need to meet business goals efficiently and safely.

Requirements

2-5 years’ experience in general Manufacturing and Packaging
Management or supervisory experience
D365 exprience
Knowledge of cGDP and ISO standards.
Ability to prioritize and close deadlines.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.

Responsibilities

Enforce safety regulations, ensure OSHA compliance, and maintain a safe, organized work environment
Implement Lean concepts into production processes.
Understand flow, Pull Systems, Value StreamMapping, and Visual Management.
Collect, analyze and audit data; provide suggestions for process improvement and cost reduction;
Manage production schedule, inventory control, material presentation, and quality/safety.
Tracks operational and maintenance issues and submits work orders to prevent operational delays.
Prepare and present production reports, performance metrics, and operational updates to management
Assure all documentation information is recorded according to Good Documentation Practices.
Enforce quality standards, and implement corrective actions to maintain or exceed specifications
Assist in Root Cause Investigations.
Work with maintenance, quality control, supply chain, and other departments to optimize production.
Other duties as assigned.
