About The Position
The Production Supervisor leads manufacturing operations on the production floor, overseeing daily production activities, maintaining safety standards, and driving process improvements to optimize efficiency. The role manages and supports a production team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring quality and productivity goals are met and operations run smoothly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in factory or manufacturing facility environments and a strong understanding of production processes.
- Hands-on experience with assembly line operations and mechanical assembly.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and manufacturing documents.
- Proficiency with measuring instruments, hand tools, power tools, and forklift operation.
- Knowledge of production safety standards, safety protocols, and lean manufacturing practices.
- Ability to manage production or assembly teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Strong manual handling skills and physical capability for heavy lifting when required.

- Mechanical knowledge and experience with process improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures, inventory management, and logistics coordination.
- Technical proficiency with manufacturing management software.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to high quality standards.
- Lead production teams by providing direction, motivation, and support to meet operational targets.
- Enforce facility safety standards and protocols and promote safety awareness and compliance.
- Interpret manufacturing documents, technical drawings, and process instructions for accurate assembly and mechanical work.
- Use measuring instruments and hand tools for assembly, mechanical adjustments, and quality checks.
- Implement lean manufacturing process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
- Oversee heavy lifting and manual handling, ensuring safe practices are followed.
- Manage warehouse inventory and coordinate with logistics for material supply and product dispatches.
- Inspect equipment and tools, including forklifts and power tools, for proper operation and safety compliance.
- Maintain production records, reports, and documentation related to workflow, incidents, and quality control.
