About The Position

As a Production Supervisor, you will work onsite in Salem, OR, reporting to the Production Manager. Your primary role is to mentor teams to ensure safety, quality, and productivity, achieving goals through standardized work and worker accountability. This position involves ensuring the shift runs safely and produces quality products through process confirmation and building worker accountability. This is a 12-hour weekend shift working from 4:00-4:30 Friday-Sunday with one rotating shift every two weeks. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 5+ years experience in production with previous supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs, to bend, and stand or walk for long periods of time in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to use ERP systems

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build a conducive work environment for the team(s) to complete their assigned responsibilities.
  • Basic administration of supervisory responsibilities and documents.
  • Resolve workflow problems by analyzing impediments and organizing work to improve use of personnel and material resources.
  • Assign work to unionized hourly workforce and holding employees accountable for following processes on daily work assignments in terms safety, quality, and throughput.
  • Help to maintain the safety program to minimize accidents and injuries and to provide a safe working environment.
  • Support problem resolution with cross-functional teams, including the Quality department, Engineers, and others.
