About The Position

Supervisor-Ink Cups Summary: The Department Supervisor of the Ink Cups Department is responsible for the structure, development, and efficiency of the production department.

Responsibilities

  • Coach, develop, and inspire staff at varying levels throughout regular and peak seasons. Professional and meaningful communication with different levels of team members through meetings, emails, phone calls, and face to face discussions.
  • Troubleshooting machine issues, develop great relationships with Auto team to resolve issues quickly and correctly, ensure departmental compliance on strict maintenance schedules.
  • Daily monitoring of department efficiencies and backlog using reports and calculations from admin and tracking this information for supervisor. Monitoring express movement and making improvements on production flow when needed.
  • Work directly with Operations Management to determine staff needs for regular and peak seasons and strategies for different workflow demand
  • Consistently monitor methods, effectiveness of practices and opportunities to improve department
  • Work in close contact with Merchandising staff on product development and sampling
  • Write performance reviews and structured goals for team members and follow up throughout the year on progress
  • Encourage an environment of open communication between production staff and leadership team
  • Promote an environment of high morale and high-performance expectations that are focused on our service, quality and efficiency to customers’ demands
  • Conflict resolution and ability to deliver discipline whenever necessary
  • Keep a clean, organized, and presentable department
  • Flexibility to work with all other production departments
