About The Position

The Plastics Production Supervisor position will serve as the primary supervisor for the Plastics Department's weekend shift. This role involves leading a team, ensuring safety and quality, maximizing production output, enforcing company policies, and acting as a communication link between employees and leadership.

Requirements

• 3–5 years in manufacturing or leadership roles with a solid understanding of production and quality systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in management preferred.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
• Experience with blueprints, small tools, and finishing/painting processes is a bonus.
• A proactive leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and can pivot with the season’s changing demands.
• Ability to team-lift, load and carry items weighing up to 150 pounds.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support production staff, fostering collaboration and mentoring team members to achieve excellence.
• Ensure a safe workplace by enforcing safety protocols, training employees, and managing incident responses.
• Deliver top-quality products by training employees on standards, conducting inspections, and managing non-conforming products.
• Maximize production output by monitoring performance, addressing issues, and implementing process enhancements.
• Maintain an organized, “customer-visit-ready” production floor and proactively address housekeeping needs.
• Enforce company policies, manage schedules, and serve as the communication bridge between employees and leadership.
