Responsibilities

• Provide assigned associates with necessary resources required to perform job responsibilities
• Monitor daily work schedules utilizing kanban to ensure timely completion of orders
• Oversee the operation of all equipment to ensure safe and proper working ability with scheduled preventive maintenance
• Coordinate on-the-job training and cross training to ensure associates are capable of performing job responsibilities
• Assist to resolve associate issues and concerns within the guidelines of the company policy
• Develop new process methods for continuous improvement of quality, efficiency, and effectiveness
• Assure proper administration of company rules and regulations
• Facilitate ongoing safety and communications
• Maintain a quality system that meets or exceeds the requirements for TS 16949 certification
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations and practices
• Maintain 5S housekeeping assignments on a daily basis
• Ensure standardized work practices are utilized in the work areas
• Provide department associates with proper training, tools, and equipment to produce a quality product
• Monitor Kanbans to assure efficient utilization of equipment and associates
• Oversee preventive maintenance for safety and to ensure ongoing future operations
• Coordinate needs with other departments and resolve processing issues
