The Production Supervisor is responsible for ensuring production lines run efficiently with a continuous improvement mindset. This role involves maintaining product quality parameters, planning and organizing safety and sanitation, and ensuring daily housekeeping for the shift. The supervisor must assure compliance with plant Good Manufacturing Processes, conduct safety audits, and monitor, record, and take appropriate action for specified Food Safety Plan, Food Quality Plan, and prerequisite program requirements. Reporting food safety and quality issues to management is crucial. The role also includes project work, timely completion of objectives, and generating daily production, operating, and efficiency reports, as well as managing line start-ups and shutdowns.
