The person hired as Production Supervisor will lead 3rd shift manufacturing operations. They are responsible for ensuring safety, quality, service, efficiency, and employee engagement. This role supports growing supervisory coverage for 24/7 shifts, including weekends. In this role, you will make an impact by ensuring a safe working environment through modeling safe behaviors, leading audits/inspections, correcting unsafe behaviors, leading crew meetings, and applying accurate work methods, procedures, and equipment. You will provide supervision and support to production and warehouse hourly employees and ensure accuracy in production reporting and time reporting for payroll. You will work and communicate cross-functionally with site support teams (EHS, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Production Planning) to meet production schedules and implement improvements. You will handle shift administrative activities such as training, time/absence reporting, attendance control, vacation planning, overtime, training, etc. You will plan daily work schedules, prioritize, allocate work assignments, and monitor production processes to meet specific daily production requirements for customer deliveries. You will implement process improvements through Practical Process Improvement (PPI), Lean, and other methodologies while maintaining strict adherence to GMP, ISO, and safety standards.
