About The Position

Deckorators is expanding its leadership team and seeking an experienced Night Shift Production Supervisor for its Buffalo flagship facility. This role is crucial for driving safe operations, high-quality performance, and fostering a strong team environment during off-shift hours. The Production Supervisor will oversee all night shift production activity, ensuring smooth operations, employee support, and the achievement of production targets. This leader will be the primary resource on shift, contributing to the structure and success during the plant's launch and growth phases.

Requirements

3+ years in a manufacturing environment with proven leadership responsibility
Familiarity with manufacturing KPIs, standard work, and safety requirements
Strong time management, communication, and follow-through skills
Ability to work independently while supporting cross-shift collaboration
Willingness to work 12-hour night shift schedule as operations scale

Nice To Haves

Experience supervising teams on night shift or in self-directed environments preferred

Responsibilities

Lead night shift operators to achieve production and quality objectives
Provide real-time troubleshooting support and decision-making
Ensure safety is prioritized in all tasks, audits, and machine operation
Maintain communication logs and effective shift handoff with day leadership
Develop team performance through feedback, coaching, and ongoing skills training
Schedule and assign work to ensure balanced workloads and production coverage
Track shift performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain strong housekeeping standards and proper material handling
Support startup activities, including SOP development and system improvements
