Production Supervisor Plant
About The Position
Adler Pelzer Group is seeking a motivated and committed Production Supervisor for their manufacturing operations in Thomson, Georgia. The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading, managing and maintaining an assigned section of the Production Floor related to customer product lines and internal manufacturing processes. This includes organizing work assignments, checking procedures and equipment to ensure conformance to standardized work, engineering instructions, and compliance with established maintenance, IATF16949 and APPS standards. The role involves meeting production schedules and optimizing plant resources.
Requirements
- Equivalent experience to education
- Licenses & Certifications are preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Manage personnel and projects within his/her department.
- Have knowledge of all functions from raw materials to finished goods, including equipment and machinery.
- Responsible for proper use and care of equipment, requesting repair or replacement when necessary.
- Ensure that employees are properly trained for their work assignments and assist them in solving unusual problems encountered in their work.
- Troubleshoot production and maintenance issues immediately and effectively.
- Maintain keen attention to detail.
